My baby becoming a mature and independent leader??

Kashvi is my daughter - she is 2 years, 3 months old and growing at the rate of knots. This blog is a sudden inspiration and an attempt to keep track with her pace of growth and development...and come to terms with it!

Kashvi asked me today to lower my voice and speak properly to her father today… She is becoming more mature than me at handling my husband, huh!  It was such a pleasant surprise to her instructing me. I almost feel like crushing her with hugs all day!

At the parent teacher meeting today, the teacher told us Kashvi is showing leadership skills in taking care of other children and is very mature in handling herself and others. Considering how impulsive I am, a part of this certainly coming from her father!

I just loved hearing them praise Kashvi, I was even almost jealous! The teacher even suggested it might be time for a second kid, given Kashvi’s interests and tendencies of taking care of other kids – she would a second mother for the baby.  Now, that’s more than I want to handle, so let’s move on!

I am wishing she stays like this always and also grows up at the same time – how to make that happen!
